Five-member group Wonder Girls' new song "2 Different Tears" has placed 21st on the Billboard charts about one month after its release.

One of the most popular Korean female pop bands, the Wonder Girls released a mini album with the title song, 2 Different Tears (2DT) in China and the U.S. as well as in Korea in each national language in mid-June.

The album placed 21st on Billboard's Heatseekers Album Charts on July 7, as one of "the week's top selling albums by a new or developing artist."

Following reaching the 76th place on the Billboard Hot100 with the world famous song "Nobody," last year, this is the second time to make it onto Billboard charts. Even though 2DT did not enter the main chart of the Billboard 200, it is a remarkable and successful start for the Korean girl group.



원걸, 美빌보드 또 진입 '쾌거'..히트시커스 21위

5인 걸그룹 원더걸스가 또 다시 미국 빌보드 차트에 진입했다.

지난 6월 중순 한국 미국 중국 등에서 각국 언어로 '2DT'를 타이틀곡으로 한 새 미니앨범을 발표한 원더걸스는 7일 현재 최신(10일자) 미국 빌보드 차트의 부문별 차트인 '히트시커스 앨범차트'(Heatseekers Albums)에서 당당히 21위로 데뷔했다. 히트시커스 앨범 차트는 신인급 가수들의 앨범을 대상으로 순위를 정하고 있다.

비록 빌보드 메인 앨범차트인 '빌보드 200'에 진입한 것은 아니지만, 지난해 10월 '노바디'로 빌보드 메인 싱글차트인 '핫 100'에 오른 직후 처음으로 낸 앨범이 또 다시 빌보드 차트 순위권에 올랐다는 점에서, 이번 진입은 의미가 크다. 원더걸스는 '노바디'로 '핫100' 차트 76위까지 올랐다.
