Anger after nail salon charges 'overweight' people more for same treatment

A salon is being berated for allegedly putting up a sign that said "overweight" customers would have to pay more for a pedicure.
The message was photographed by an unnamed woman and posted to Facebook. It provoked quite the reaction. As it would. According to locals, the salon is Rose Nails in Tennessee, US.
“Sorry, but if you are overweight, pedicures will be $45 (㿐) due to service fees for pedicurists. Thank you!” the full poster read.
"I feel like they ought to be able to get services like any other person," said customer Kimberly War.
Owner Son Nguyen denied the sign had appeared in his salon, however. He said the photo could've been taken anywhere.
Local news channel WREG went down to talk to Son. A reporter showed him a wider shot of the supposed premises, with the “same walls, same signs and same flooring” as the salon.
Son maintained his denial, but did concede that he had in the past considered charging overweight customers more be cause it is “difficult for technicians to give them pedicures.”
He also claimed larger clients had broken two chairs, costing between ٟ,600 and ٠,000. The sign – whether at Son's salon or not – has since been taken down.
